Add the color picker to your application

To configure a custom color to apply to graphic objects in the
FactoryTalk Optix Application
, link the
Color Picker
 widget to a style sheet property.
TIP: If you select the
Text color
 property in the global properties of a style sheet, you can use the
Color Picker
 widget to change the
Text color
 property of all graphic objects in the project at runtime. Link the
Color Picker
 a property of the stylesheet.
  1. Select
    Template
    Libraries
    .
  2. In
    Template Libraries
    , select
    Widgets
    .
  3. Drag
    Color Picker
     from
    Template Libraries
     into a container in the
    UI
     folder of
    Project view
    . An instance of the widget appears in
    Project view
    .
  4. Select
    Close
    .
  5. With the
    Color Picker
     object selected, in
    Properties
     in
    Color
    , select
    Set Alias
    .
  6. Select the property in the UI style sheet to link to the
    Color Picker
    .
  7. Click
    Select
    .
