Archive an Organization
This feature allows you to archive organizations when they are no longer in use, or you
created them by mistake. Organizations that you archive are not deleted but they are hidden and
become inaccessible to all the organizations users.
When you archive an organization:
- All members, including the administrator, lose access to the organization and its active entitlements. No changes can be made in the organization unless it is restored.
- The organization and its data are not deleted. They are hidden and become inaccessible to all users.
Only the owner of administrators of an organization can archive and restore them.
To archive an organization:
- From the FactoryTalk Hub menu, selectOrganizations.
- From the list of organizations, select the organization you want to archive.
- From the FactoryTalk Hub menu, selectSettings.
- In theArchive organizationsection, selectArchive.
- In the pop-up window that appears, selectArchive
To reverse the action of archiving:
- Above the organizations table on the right, selectShow.Result:All archived organizations appear in the organizations list.TIP: The archived organizations are greyed out and inactive until restored.
- Select the organization you do not want to be archived and selectRestore.TIP: If you do not want the archived organization to appear in the organizations list, at the top of the list, selectHide.
You can also reverse the archiving action by contacting the technical support.
