Provide issue information

When your FactoryTalk Historian ME is not operating properly, you should collect the following information for Technical Support before restarting the module or changing the module configuration. This information will assist the Support team in troubleshooting your issues.
  • Check the system log and export log data.
    Go to the
    Advanced
    tab, view the System Log page, and export log data.
  • Check for core dump files and download them if there are any.
    Go to the
    Web Diagnostics Firmware
    tab and click
    Core Dump Directory
    to collect the core dump files.

  • Go to the
    Web Diagnostics Firmware
    tab and click
    Download Logs
    to package the log files and download them.
  • Record the firmware information.
    Go to the
    Web Diagnostics Firmware
    tab. Check the
    Overview
    page for the firmware information.
