Provide issue information
When your FactoryTalk Historian ME is not operating properly, you should collect the following information for Technical Support before restarting the module or changing the module configuration. This information will assist the Support team in troubleshooting your issues.
- Check the system log and export log data.Go to theAdvancedtab, view the System Log page, and export log data.
- Check for core dump files and download them if there are any.Go to theWeb Diagnostics Firmwaretab and clickCore Dump Directoryto collect the core dump files.TIP:For details on the web diagnostics interface, see Use Web Diagnostics.
- Go to theWeb Diagnostics Firmwaretab and clickDownload Logsto package the log files and download them.
- Record the firmware information.Go to theWeb Diagnostics Firmwaretab. Check theOverviewpage for the firmware information.
