Create users
To create a user
- Click theConfigure Historiantab, and then clickUser Management.TheUser Managementpage appears.
- ClickNew.TheCreate Userpage appears.
- In theUser Namebox, type the user name.The user name must be any combination of lowercase and uppercase characters (a-z, A-Z) and digits (0-9).
- (Optional) In theDescriptionbox, type a description.
- In thePasswordbox, enter the user password.The password must be any combination of lowercase and uppercase characters (a-z, A-Z) and digits (0-9).
- In theConfirm Passwordbox, confirm the password.
- (Optional) In theGroupsbox, select the groups that you want the user to belong to. For details, see View groups.
- ClickSaveto create the user.
- ClickBackto return to theUser Managementpage.The newly created user is displayed in the user list.
