Change the properties of a routine

Change the properties of a routine to view and change the name and descriptions of the routine.
To change the properties of a routine
  1. On the explorer bar, select System Icon
    System
    .
  2. In
    System
    , expand the
    FactoryTalk Smart Object
     and program.
  3. Double-click a routine preceded by Ladder Icon or Structured Text Icon .
  4. In the open routine, change the properties:
    • Routine
      . Enter a new name for the routine.
    • Description
      . Enter a new description for the routine.
    • In Program
      . The program in which the routine exists. This property is read-only.
      TIP: If the
      Properties
      pane for the routine does not open, place the title bar of the routine in focus and then select Properties icon
