Allocate FactoryTalk Smart Object or program to a controller and task

Allocate an existing
FactoryTalk Smart Object
 or program to a controller or task.
  1. In the explorer bar, select System Icon
    System
    .
  2. Select the
    FactoryTalk Smart Object
     or program.
    TIP:
    Properties > Size
     shows how large the Smart Object or program is.
    Size
     is stated in blocks of memory and is the sum of all the programs belonging to the Smart Object.
  3. In
    Properties
    , select the
    Allocation
    tab and select:
    • Controller
      . Select a controller from the list to allocate the program of
      FactoryTalk Smart Object
       to a controller.
      • Select
        None
        to leave the program or
        FactoryTalk Smart Object
         unassigned.
    • Task
      . Select a task from the list to allocate the controller to a task.
      • Select
        None
        to leave the controller unassigned
