Add a VPN driver

Follow these steps to add a VPN driver for communicating with the controller.
  1. Select to open the Deploy Center.
  2. In the Path column for a controller, select Hamburger Menu Icon and select
    Set controller path
    .
  3. In the Set Device Path dialog, select Configure Drivers.
  4. In Available Driver Types, select
    Factory Talk Remote Access (VPN)
    .
  5. Select
    Add New
    .
  6. In the Change the VPN Endpoint dialog, expand
    Endpoints
     and
    Devices
    .
  7. Select the endpoint and select
    OK
    .
  8. On the Configure VPN dialog, set the Discovery Method to
    Broadcast > Local Broadcast
    .
  9. Select
    OK
     and close the Configure VPN dialog.
  10. On the Set Device Path dialog, right-click the endpoint and select
    Connect
    .
  11. Expand the endpoint to see the available controllers.
  12. Select your controller and select
    OK
    .
