Column and row preferences in reports
The Results pane contains data items in columnar format. The data items cannot be edited directly.
If you select List in the
User Preferences
dialog box, you can manipulate the columns in the Results pane as follows:Action | How to Perform |

Sorting columns | Click a column header to sort the items in the column alphabetically or numerically. |
Sizing columns | Automatically: To make the column width fit the contents, double-click the boundary to the right of the column heading.Manually: Drag the boundary on the right side of the column heading until the column is the desired width. |
Editing the item name | Click once on a row to highlight it, and then click again. The item name is encased in an editing box so that you can rename the item. |
Double-click on a row to open the Properties dialog box, allowing you to edit the item name. | |
Right-click on a row to display the shortcut menu; select Rename . | |
Editing a row | Double-click on a row to open the Properties dialog box to edit the row’s information. |
Right-click on a row to display the shortcut menu; select Properties or other editing operations. | |
Copy, delete, or move rows | Right-click on a row to display the shortcut menu; select Cut , Copy , Paste , or Delete . |
