Automatic Diagnostics
Automatic Diagnostics is a system-level feature in
Logix 5000®
controllers that provides device diagnostics to HMIs and other clients, with zero programming. The diagnostics include device description conditions and state events.Automatic Diagnostics is enabled by default in controllers with firmware revision 33 or later. You can disable and enable the whole feature while online or offline from the Advanced tab on the Controller Properties dialog box. You can also disable Automatic Diagnostics for a specific device in the device's configuration.
