Verify PI Asset Framework

  1. Log in to DataView application, under the Connection tab, click [Add Connections].
  2. Select [FactoryTalk Service] under the Rockwell Automation drop-down list.
  3. Provide the parameters and Click [Test Connection]. If all the details are valid, the “
    Test connection successful
    ” message displays.

  4. Verify the list of databases, elements available under FactoryTalk Service model. DataView enables user to import and analyse EventFrames information from PIAF tags and create Storyboard.
    NOTE:
    The element tags without child items are hidden under PIAF tag hierarchy, but there is no change in the Database.
