Trinidad and Tobago, an island country that is part of the Caribbean, has had significant industrial development in recent years, mainly thanks to its oil and natural gas production. Aiming to continue growing in the future, it is expected that the economic activities of this nation will go deeper into the digitalization and automation of its value chains. Given this positive scenario, Risoul RS has recently opened its new office in that nation, further strengthening its expansion in the Caribbean area. The know-how of Risoul, a company founded in 1973 and part of RS Group plc since 2022, will help to add value to Trinidadian companies through technological acceleration, targeting their industrial automation thanks to its alliance with Rockwell Automation.
Regarding the strengthening of Risoul RS' presence in Trinidad and Tobago, Gerardo Ayala, Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean, mentioned “For Risoul RS, Trinidad and Tobago represent the continuation of our expansion in Latin America, a market with great industrial potential and development opportunities. As Risoul RS together with Rockwell Automation, we are committed to supporting industrial growth through our products, services, and solutions, focused on providing added value to the needs of the market”.
Risoul RS' new Trinidadian offices in Trinidad and Tobago are in the Gulf City Complex. They will have a team of sales engineers and Rockwell Automation product specialists to provide local support to customers. Thus, the firm's experts will be able to carry out technical and commercial visits, supported by robust logistics provided by a local company in charge of product management and dispatch.
Rockwell Automation´s solutions portfolio that are already available to Trinidadian companies includes automation tools, real-time analytics, digital transformation of processes, as well as training programs for plant operators. “With the arrival of Risoul RS in Trinidad we strengthen Rockwell Automation's presence in this important market, where we have a large installed base. We feel privileged to give the good news to the Trinidadian industry, which will now be closer to the latest automation and digital transformation solutions, seeking to increase their productivity, sustainability, and competitiveness”- Rodrigo Riera, Regional Director, Andean & Caribbean for Rockwell Automation.
It is worth noting that the opening of this branch is preceded by the inauguration of the Risoul RS office in the Dominican Republic, which reflects the company's optimism regarding the automation and digitalization process of the Caribbean industrial market.
