Axisxx – Homing View
Use Axisxx – Homing to view or configure the homing parameters of the specific axis.
Axisxx – Homing View Example
The Axisxx – Homing view includes these parameters:
Parameter | Description |

Home Speed | Specifies the speed to use during a Home operation until the home
limit switch is detected. You can set this parameter to a high
value to reduce the time it takes to perform the Home
command. Valid values are greater than 0.0 and less than or equal to
C:MaxSpeed. The value is in Engineering Units per second. |
Home Final Speed | Specifies the final speed to use after the home limit switch is
detected. You can set this parameter to a low value to achieve
better home position accuracy. Valid values are greater than 0.0 and less than or equal to
C:MaxSpeed. The value is in Engineering Units per second. |
Home Acceleration | Specifies the speed's rate of change when performing the Home
command. The value is in Engineering Units per second 2 . |
Home Timeout | Specifies the maximum time that the axis is allowed to find the
home position. When the time elapses, the axis performs a smooth stop and
position remains invalid. Valid values are 1.0…600.0 seconds |
Home Position | Displays the position value to set as the current position when a
Home or Set Home Position command completes. The value is in Engineering Units. |
