Time-scheduled Output Control with PWM (Scheduled PWM)
IMPORTANT:
This feature is only available for
5034-UB8F module with firmware revision 2.011 or higher.
This feature functions the same way as Time-scheduled Output Control, except that instead
of controlling On or Off states, the data bit O.Schedule[n].Data controls the start and
stop of the pulse generation. The PWM Cycle Count Limit is not supported for Scheduled
PWM. If PWM Cycle Count Limit (
C.Pwmxx.CycleCountEn
) is enabled, Scheduled PWM
entries are discarded. When Scheduled PWM is used, the
O.Pwmxx.CycleTime
and O.Pwmxx.DutyCycle
are
always applied immediately after the module receives the consume data (that is, queuing
scheduled entries with different cycle time or duty cycle is not supported).
IMPORTANT:
To use Scheduled PWM, you must set MAOC
Compatible Data to No in the Device Definition.
An output point, which is configured as Scheduled PWM, can operate in the following ways
that are listed below.
C.Pwmxx.Enable | O.Ptxx.ScheduleEn | Description |
|---|---|---|
0 | 0 | The output point functions as a simple digital output. The
O.Ptxx.Data bit controls the output state. |
0 | 1 | The output point functions as a scheduled output. The
O.Schedule[n].Data bit controls the output state. |
1 | 0 | The output point functions as PWM output. The O.Ptxx.Data bit
controls the output PWM generation. |
1 | 1 | The output point functions as a Scheduled PWM output. The
O.Schedule[n].Data bit controls the output PWM generation. |
