Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), the world's largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, today announced that Uwe Keiter, managing director and OEM sales director of Rockwell Automation in Germany, was recently elected to the main board of the VDMA (machinery and plant engineering industry association).

The election took place on October 11, 2024, during the VDMA general assembly in Wiesbaden, Germany. The appointment of Uwe Keiter to the VDMA main board highlights the growing importance of automation and digitalization within the German machinery and plant engineering industry.
Keiter has many years of experience in the automation industry and a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities of digitalization in the industry. His priorities will include driving digital transformation in manufacturing, fostering a highly skilled automation technology workforce, and enabling sustainable production through the integration of intelligent technologies.
Uwe Keiter will be attending the SPS - Smart Production Solutions - trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany, from November 12 to 14, 2024 (Rockwell Automation, Hall 3C, Booth 320). SPS is known as a leading event and trendsetter in the automation sector.
