Jobs in STEM are growing twice as fast as other job according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. To meet the demand, companies like ours are working to show parents, teachers, and students just what modern manufacturing is all about.
Through our strategic partnership with FIRST, we reach more students around the world to demonstrate what a career in STEM, and manufacturing can look like. A global, nonprofit organization, FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) provides after-school, mentor-based programs for young people. This organization crosses socioeconomic, race, and gender boundaries to build science, engineering, and technology skills.
On November 2016, we announced a multi-year, multi-million dollar donation to FIRST. This donation supports our commitment to bring science and technology to our next generation of students and employees.
