Our Obligation To Take Back Batteries Supplied By Rockwell Automation
As a producer of industrial batteries under the “Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009”, Rockwell Automation imports lithium and lead-acid portable and industrial batteries. We are obliged to take back – free of charge – waste industrial batteries supplied to a B2B end user, for treatment and recycling. We are required to do this in any calendar year we place new industrial batteries on the market. If any of our customers, or in certain cases other end users, require us to take back Industrial batteries, they should contact us. We will agree the necessary arrangements for the return, proper treatment and recycling of waste industrial batteries.
WEEE Regulations
Our Obligation To Take Back Electrical & Electronic Equipment After End Of Life (WEEE) Supplied By Rockwell Automation
As a producer of Electrical & Electronic Equipment (EEE) under the “Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2014”, Rockwell Automation imports electrical and electronic equipment. We are obliged to take back – free of charge – waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) which is in scope of the regulation, supplied to a B2B end user, for treatment and recycling. We are required to do this in any calendar year we place new EEE on the market. If any of our customers or in certain cases other end users, require us to take back WEEE, they should contact us. As member of a compliance scheme, we will agree the necessary arrangements for the return, proper treatment and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment.
