Trace List (XY Plot)
The
Trace List
displays details of the current traces and other data applicable to the selected tags. In the Trace List
, each row represents a trace, and multiple traces are possible.
TIP:
Right-click the list to show the context menu for configuring column settings.
The following table describes the data provided for each trace.
Column | Description |

X Tag | Fully qualified name of the x tag. |
Y Tag | Fully qualified name of the y tag. |
X Historical Model | FactoryTalk View SE Data log models, DataLogPro, FactoryTalk Historian Asset Framework servers, or FactoryTalk Historian SE or ME servers. |
Y Historical Model | FactoryTalk View SE Data log models, DataLogPro, FactoryTalk Historian Asset Framework servers, or FactoryTalk Historian SE or ME servers. |
Visible | Indicates whether the trace is visible on the chart. Clear this check box to hide a selected trace without removing it from the list of traces. |
Style | Color, width, and style of the trace line. Double-click a line in this column to change its appearance. |
X Axis Min | Minimum X-axis value for the tag (in engineering units). |
X Axis Max | Maximum X-axis value for the tag (in engineering units). |
Y Axis Min | Minimum Y-axis value for the tag (in engineering units). |
Y Axis Max | Maximum Y-axis value for the tag (in engineering units). |
X Unit | Engineering unit for the x tag value. |
Y Unit | Engineering unit for the y tag value. |
Precision | Decimal precision for the tag value. Click the down arrow to change the precision. |
Format | Scientific or decimal number format. Click the down arrow to change the format. |
X Tag Min | Minimum value of the raw acquired value of the x tag. |
X Tag Max | Maximum value of the raw acquired value of the x tag. |
Y Tag Min | Minimum value of the raw acquired value of the y tag. |
Y Tag Max | Maximum value of the raw acquired value of the y tag. |
