Troubleshooting: Trend chart is missing data when scrolling

Problem

Data outside the visible trend chart area is lost. When you scroll back, or forward, data is missing.

Cause

The trend object stores a limited number of extra data points in addition to those shown. You can set up the amount of extra data stored in a buffer.

Solution

On the

Display

tab in the Trend

Properties

dialog box, set up the

Buffer for Extra Data

option to hold more records per pen.
