Troubleshooting: Trend data is not scrolling

Problem
Data is not scrolling on a trend chart.
Solution
Check the following:
  • On the runtime trend display, if the
    VCR
    buttons are visible, make sure the
    Pause/Resume
    scrolling button (in the center) is not paused (in a down position). If it is, click the button to resume scrolling, or right-click the trend and then select
    Scroll
    .
  • On the
    Display
    tab, make sure the
    Allow Scrolling
    check box is selected.
  • On the
    General
    tab, select
    Chart Update Mode
    . The refresh rate may be set too high, or the
    On change heartbeat or deadband
    options may be set too low, causing a long delay between updates.
