Troubleshooting: Trend data is not scrolling
Problem
Data is not scrolling on a trend chart.
Solution
Check the following:
- On the runtime trend display, if theVCRbuttons are visible, make sure thePause/Resumescrolling button (in the center) is not paused (in a down position). If it is, click the button to resume scrolling, or right-click the trend and then selectScroll.
- On theDisplaytab, make sure theAllow Scrollingcheck box is selected.
- On theGeneraltab, selectChart Update Mode. The refresh rate may be set too high, or theOn change heartbeat or deadbandoptions may be set too low, causing a long delay between updates.
