Troubleshooting: Numbers display as decimals

Problem

Numbers on the trend chart show as decimals, even though you have selected

Octal

, or

Hexadecimal

as the

Chart Radix

setting on the

Display

tab.

Solution

On the

Y-Axis

tab, change the number of decimal places to 0 (zero). If the number of decimal places is set to anything other than zero, numbers cannot be converted accurately to octal, or hexadecimal. To provide accurate data, the trend object shows the numbers as decimals.
