Example: Position - snapshot

If you overlay a trend snapshot and anchor it by position, the position of the earliest data in the overlay is anchored to the current trend chart based on a specified offset percentage. Runtime data scrolls under the snapshot data.

The position of the overlay depends on the normal view of the trend chart. If you zoom the chart data, the X and Y ranges of the overlay change to match that of the runtime chart. If you pan the data, the runtime data moves beneath the snapshot data with the starting point of the snapshot data remaining fixed in the chart.
