Event list

The event list displays the list of operator actions and alarm events that have occurred within the current trend time period. Some events may not be visible on the chart because they are drawn behind higher priority events.
TIP:
The columns shown may vary depending on whether you are using the local or network application.
Right-click the list to show the context menu for configuring column settings.
The following table describes columns for the events.
Column
Description
Priority
An icon that represents the urgency of the event.
Alarm State
An icon that represents the change in alarm state caused by an alarm event.
Event Time
The time at which the diagnostic information occurred or the alarm condition changed into the currently displayed state. You can click this column to sort the list.
Source
The name of the alarm, or the software product that generated the diagnostic message.
Location
The computer name from which the message generated
Condition Name
A name that describes the alarm condition. Condition names vary by event category. For example:
  • Level: LO, LOLO, HI, HIHI
  • Discrete: TRIP, TRIP_L (Latched)
  • Deviation: DEV_LO, DEV_HI, DEV_HI_LO
  • Rate of Change: ROC_POS, ROC_NEG
Message
The text that describes the operator action or alarm event.
Resource
The name of the hardware or software object that is the subject of the diagnostic message.
User Name
The login ID of the user logged on to the computer when the message was generated.
Current Value
The value of the tag that is being monitored for alarms when the alarm condition changed state.
Limit Value
An integer value that specifies the limit value of the alarms.
