Set up data logging

Use the
Setup
 tab to specify the description, log file identifier string, and the storage format of the data log model.
If you are going to use ODBC data tables, you must first create the data sources on the computer on which the data logger will run.
To set up data logging information:
  1. In the
    Data Log Models
     editor, in the
    Setup
     tab, type a description of the data log model you are creating.
  2. If long format file names are supported, type an identifier string for the log file.
  3. Select the storage format.
  4. If you selected the ODBC storage format, fill in the requested information.
