DataLogSwitchBack

Switches data logging back to the primary file set's path or ODBC database for the specified model or for all models, if the primary path or ODBC database is available. For file sets, FactoryTalk View creates a new set when it switches back to the primary path.
Syntax
DataLogSwitchBack
<parameter>
where
<parameter>
specifies the data log model. It can be one of the following options:
  • component
    is a relative or absolute reference to the name of the data log model that is to go back to logging to its primary path. If the model name has a space in it, enclose the name in quotes; for example, "Recipe Log".
  • /area::*
    switches all data log models that are currently running back to their primary logging paths.
Remarks
DataLogSwitchBack does not check that the minimum disk space specified for .DAT data storage format in Data Log Setup, is available.
This command can be issued from the
FactoryTalk View SE
 Client,
FactoryTalk View Studio
, or HMI server, but is always run on the HMI server.
