Polarity

A read connection. You can assign a tag or an expression to this connection. It determines whether or not a minus sign is displayed. A minus sign is displayed when this connection has a nonzero value. If the value is 0, a minus sign is not displayed. If this connection is assigned, it overrides the polarity of the Value connection’s value.

If you assign an expression to this connection, the application calculates the value of the expression and uses the result to determine whether to display a minus sign.

If the Polarity connection uses a tag with a floating point address, values less than .5 will be rounded down and values greater than or equal to .5 will be rounded up.
