Add Virtual Meter

Provides data from virtual meters, which aggregate information from multiple physical meters. This level allows monitoring and comprehensive analysis of energy usage across various segments, helping to identify trends and implement strategic energy management initiatives.
Perform the following steps to add a
Virtual
 meter to the hierarchy list:
  1. Select
    Site
     or
    Area
     or
    Work center
     or
    Work Units
     from the hierarchy list.
  2. Click the [] icon and click
    Add
    .
    Work Units - Add
    The
    Add Component
     dialog box is displayed.
  3. Under
    Meter
     from the left pane, select the
    Virtual
     meter and provide the following details:
    • Resource Type
      : Select a resource type from the drop-down list.
    • Measurement
      : Select a measurement from the drop-down list.
    • Name
      : Provide a virtual meter name.
    • Description
      : Provide a description of the virtual meter.
  4. Click
    Add
    .
    Add Virtual Meter (Continued)
    The "
    <Virtual Meter Name> added under <Site/Area/Work Center/Work Unit Name> successfully
    " message is displayed.
  5. To edit the details, refer to the Edit Component section.
