Device type | Displays the device catalog number and type. |
Ethernet Address | Specifies the IP configuration for the device. Possible options include:

Series | Specifies the series of the device. |
Revision | Specifies the major and minor revisions of the device. The major revision only displays the major revisions that are applicable to the selected series. This field appears dimmed when online unless the device supports allowing major revision changes while online. The valid range for minor revision is 1 through 255. This field is enabled while offline, and while in the Program , Remote Program , and Remote Run modes. It appears dimmed when in the Run mode, or when electronic keying is set to Disable Keying . |
Electronic keying | Specifies the electronic keying you wish to use for the selected device. Valid values are Compatible Module (default), Exact Match , or Disable Keying .Electronic Keying is enabled while offline, and while in the Program , Remote Program , and Remote Run modes. It appears dimmed when in the Run mode. |
Connection | Specifies the communication to connect with the device. Valid value includes - Data and Data-GuardLink based on selected series.

OK | When modifying electronic keying and minor revision, selecting OK updates and saves the changes and takes you back to the Overview view.When modifying series, major revision, minor revision, and the device-specific properties, selecting OK displays the Change Device Definition Confirmation dialog box prior to updating data within the profile. |
Cancel | Select this button to return to the Overview view without changing any values. |
