Description
Nominal line - line voltage
Specifies the nominal system (line-to-line) voltage.
Valid values range from 0.0 through 1,000,000.0. The default is 480.
Nominal frequency
Specifies the nominal system frequency.
Valid values are 50.0 Hz and 60.0 Hz (default).
Metering mode
Configures the power monitor with the external electrical system and how it is wired to the power monitor voltage and current input terminals.
The available values are:
  • 0 = Demo
  • 1 = Split Phase
  • 2 = Wye (default)
  • 3 = Delta, 2 CT
  • 4 = Delta, 3 CT
  • 5 = Open Delta, 2 CT
  • 6 = Open Delta, 3 CT
  • 7 = Delta, Grounded B Phase, 2 CT
  • 8 = Delta, Grounded B Phase, 3 CT
  • 9 = Delta, High Leg
  • 10 = Single Phase
Realtime update rate
Specifies the averaging used and the update rate of metering results to the data tables and setpoint calculations.
The available values are:
  • 0 = Single cycle averaged over 8 cycles (default)
  • 1 = Single cycle averaged over 4 cycles
  • 2 = 1 cycle with no averaging
Potential Transformers
Configures the potential transformer or voltage transformer (PT of VT) ratios that connect the power monitor to the electrical system.
If no PTs or VTs are used (direct connection), enter the same values for the primary and secondary.
V1,V2,V3 primary
Specifies the primary voltage rating of the voltage transformer connected to V1, V2, and V3 of the power monitor.
Valid values range from 0.0 through 1,000,000.0. The default value is 480.0.
V1,V2,V3 secondary
Specifies the secondary voltage rating of the voltage transformer connected to V1, V2, and V3 of the power monitor.
Valid values range from 0.0 through 690.0. The default value is 480.0.
V neutral primary
Specifies the primary voltage rating of the voltage transformer connected to Vn of the power monitor.
Valid values range from 0.0 through 1,000,000.0. The default value is 480.0.
V neutral secondary
Specifies the secondary voltage rating of the voltage transformer connected to Vn of the power monitor.
Valid values range from 0.0 through 690.0. The default value is 480.0.
I1,I2,I3 primary
Defines the transformation ratio of the current transformers (CTs) used to sense current in the measured power circuit together with the
I1,I2,I3 secondary
value.
Valid values range from 0.0 through 1,000,000.0. The default is 5.0.
I1,I2,I3 secondary
The CT secondary value is only permitted to be 5.
I4 primary
Defines the transformation ratio of the current transformer (CT) used to sense current in the neutral measured power circuit together with the
I4 secondary
value.
Valid values range from 0.0 through 1,000,000.0. The default is 5.0.
I4 secondary
The CT secondary value is only permitted to be 5.
Source
Use this value to select the source of the demand end-of-interval (EOI) signal.
The available values are:
  • 0 = Internal Timer (default)
  • 1 = Status Input 2
  • 2 = Controller Command (Unit must be set up as a demand sync master)
  • 3 = Ethernet Demand Broadcast
The semantics are:
  • If Broadcast Mode is set to “master”, then a Demand Source value of 0…2 selects the EOI source that is used to trigger the demand-sync master broadcast.
  • If Broadcast Mode is set to “slave”, a Demand Source value of 0…3 selects the EOI source.
Number of periods
Specifies the number of demand periods to average for demand measurement.
Valid values are:
  • 1 (default, for fixed demand period)
  • 2-15 (for sliding window demand period)
Period
Specifies the desired period for demand calculations.
Valid values are:
  • 0 (see semantics)
  • 1-99 (for demand period length in minutes, default is 15)
The semantics are:
  • When set to 0 there will be no projected demand calculations.
  • If the internal timer is selected, a setting of 0 turns the demand function off.
Forced synchronization delay
When configured for an external demand source, this value defines how long the unit waits for the expected control input (for example, EOI pulse or network demand broadcast), before it starts a new demand period. If this occurs an entry is made in the Event Log.
Valid values range from:
  • 0 (wait forever, default is 10)
  • 1 to 900 (wait this many seconds before starting a new demand period)
Tip: Network demand synchronization is available on units connected to an Ethernet network.
Broadcast mode
Configures the Demand Ethernet broadcast mode.
The available values are:
  • 0 = Slave (default)
  • 1 = Master
Broadcast port
Specifies the port to be used for demand broadcast messages.
Valid values range from 300 (default) through 400.
