Digital filter

Use the Digital Filter setting to select a filter time constant value in milliseconds. This value supports a range of 0 - 20100. A value of 0 disables the filter.

This field is a first-order lag filter that smooths input transitions. Digital filter is calculated in the software by the device, not by a hardware filter. Each channel has its own digital filter value. So each channel has a unique digital filter setting to accommodate the specific device that is attached to that channel. This is different from the the device filter, where one value is applied for all channels.
