Reset a device

Use
Reset
 to emulate the cycling of power.
IMPORTANT:
Resetting the device interrupts the connection to the device and to any other device that is connected through it. Connections from other controllers may be interrupted as well. Ensure a connection interruption at this time is acceptable before proceeding. You should not interrupt the connection on a device that is currently being used for control.
To reset a device
  1. On the tab for the device where you are updating information, select
    Reset
    .
  2. In the apply changes dialog box, select
    Yes
    .
