Reset a device

If the device needs to return to its power-up state, the reset link appears in the
Device Information
view. Use the link to emulate the power cycling.
IMPORTANT:
Resetting the device interrupts the connection to the device and to any other device that is connected through it. Connections from other controllers may also be interrupted. Ensure a connection interruption at this time is acceptable before proceeding. You should not interrupt the connection on a device that is currently being used for control.
To reset a device
  1. In the
    Device Information
    view, select
    Reset Device
    .
  2. A message appears indicating connection interruption will occur and asking to apply changes. Select
    Help
    for details on how this interruption impacts system behavior. Otherwise, select
    Yes
     to reset the device.
