TOPIC: How to Automate, Augment, and Affect Change in a Transitioning Workforce.

Workforce issues continue to dampen growth for manufacturers, in the 2024 State of Smart Manufacturing Report Attracting employees with desired skillsets was the number 1 internal obstacle for manufacturers. A shortage of skilled workers was the number 4 external obstacle, these are real obstacles manufactures are facing. This session will look at why these obstacles exist, the impact they have and ways which this shortfall can be addressed to improve workforce retention, improve productivity and agility within manufacturing and automation.
