Motor Axis Status Indicators

Description
Recommended Action
Off
The axis is disabled.
If the axis is moving and gets disabled, the indicator only turns off after the axis is stationary and no power is applied to the motor.
Enable the axis.
Steady yellow
One of the following:
  • The axis is enabled and no fault is detected.
  • An Overtravel condition exists.
None
Flashing red
One of the following recoverable fault conditions exist:
  • Short Circuit to Ground
  • Critical Temperature
  • Motor Torque Off
  • Field Power Loss
  • Brake Faulted
Do the following:
  1. Locate and correct the cause of the fault condition.
  2. Trigger the reset fault (O:ResetFault) tag.
    Only the following faults are latched:
    • Short Circuit
    • Critical Temperature
    • Motor Torque Off
    • Field Power Loss
    • Brake Faulted

One of the following:
  • Confirm that the input is configured properly.
  • Confirm that there is backplane power supplied through the EtherNet/IP adapter.
Steady yellow
The input is On.

MTO Status Indicator

Steady yellow
There is no MTO condition present.
None
Flashing red
There is an MTO condition present.
Verify that all external causes of the MTO condition are removed.
