Configure Output State When Module is in Program Mode or Inhibited
You can configure individual output points to specific states when the module is in
Program Mode or when the module is inhibited.
When the controller switches from Run mode to Program Mode or Inhibited, the output can
behave in the following ways, depending on how you configure the Output State in Program
Mode parameter:
- Off – Output is 0 or Off.
- On – Output is 1 or On.
- Hold – Output maintains the last state.
- Local Control – Output continues to operate as configured for the point.IMPORTANT:Local Control option is only available for the output points that are controlled by local events. For example, Digital Output, Logic Controlled and Digital Output, Triggered Pulse. When Local Control is selected for Program/Inhibit mode and Override is enabled for the output channel, the output turns off when the module enters Program/Inhibit mode.
When the module is inhibited, the output behavior follows the Output State in Program
Mode configuration.
