Reference Add-On Instruction Information by Logic

Use the
By Logic
tab on the
Cross Reference
dialog box to navigate to specific logic in an Add-On Instruction.
To reference Add-On Instruction Information by Logic:
  1. Press
    Ctrl + E
    to open the
    Cross Reference
    dialog box.
  2. On the
    Type
    menu, select
    Add-On Instruction
    .
  3. On the
    Name
    menu, select an Add-On Instruction.
    Each individual call to the selected instruction is listed, sorted in ascending order by container name. Double-click an element of the list to navigate to the location.
  4. Double-click a column header to sort information.
    References inside source-protected and license-protected Add-On-Instructions indicate that the Add-On-Instruction may be affected by changes to the definition of the selected Add-On-Instruction. However, the
    Routine
    ,
    Location
    , and
    Tag
    columns are blank and
    Source Not Available
    appears in the
    Description
    column. Attempting to navigate to logic in a source- or license-protected Add-On Instruction opens the definition editor for the Add-On Instruction.
    Information in each column:
    Column
    Description
    Container
    The program, phase, or instruction in which the Add-On-Instruction is referenced. Icons indicate container types.
    Routine
    The routine containing the reference.
    Location
    The location of the reference within the routine. When an Add-On Instruction is locked, this column displays
    Source not available
    .
    Tag
    The name of the tag referenced by the call to the instruction referenced by the invocation.
    Description
    The description of the backing tag, including pass-through if one is configured.
