Device information view parameters
Parameter | Description |

HART short tag name | Displays the tag name of the HART field device. |
User text | Displays additional information about the HART field device, such as
who last calibrated the device, or reference to documentation. |
Descriptor | Displays additional identification information that is used by the
plant or asset management software. |
Manufacture date | Displays the date, which is shown in the format selected for your
computer from Control Panel using the
Regional and Language settings. |
HART long tag name | Displays the HART field device and its purpose in the plant. |
Device identity | Displays Match or
Mismatch to indicate whether the physical
device and the profile have the same vendor ID, device type, or
product code. |
Write protect | Indicates whether the HART field device is write protected. Valid
values are Yes or No . If a device is write protected, some parameters cannot be changed
using HART communication. |
Manufacturer | Displays the device manufacturer name.

Device type | Displays the product name.

Classification | Displays the general device class. |
Device ID | Displays a number that represents the device ID. Device ID is a
serial number assigned by the manufacturer that is unique among all
devices produced by that manufacturer. |
Final assembly number | Displays a number that identifies the materials and electronics that
comprise the field device. The number is normally changed when
electronics or other components are upgraded in the field. In some
instances, this number references a drawing number. |
Serial number | Displays the Serial number for Endress and Hauser devices. Displays
11 character maximum. This field only appears for Endress and Houser
devices. |
Primary Variable (PV) | Displays the values collected for these Primary Variable (PV)
attributes:

Revisions | Displays these revision attributes:

Refresh | Retrieves and displays the latest values from the device. |
Reset device | Initiates a reset operation on the device, which returns the device
to its power-up state by emulating the cycling of power. IMPORTANT: Resetting a device closes all connections to or through
the device, which may result in loss of control. |
