Connection view

Use the
Connection
 view to define controller-to-device behavior.
  • Select a requested packet interval.
  • If supported, choose a Unicast or Multicast connection over EtherNet/IP
  • If supported, choose a scheduled or unscheduled connection over ControlNet.
  • If supported, select an input trigger.
  • Choose to inhibit the device.
  • Configure the controller so that a loss of connection to this device causes a major fault in the controller.
  • If supported, enable Automatic Diagnostics.
  • View connection faults.
    TIP:
    The data in the
    Connection
     view comes directly from the controller and displays information about the condition of the connection between the controller and the device.
