Topic: From Materials to Mobility: Turning Tire Data into Intelligent Manufacturing
Tire manufacturers generate vast amounts of data across the lifecycle — from material properties and sustainability attributes to consumer demand, production details, quality results, and real world performance. Today, much of this information remains isolated in separate systems, limiting its ability to influence decisions beyond its most immediate use.
This session explores how data can be leveraged at each stage of the tire lifecycle and used to inform other parts of the value chain to unlock additional value. Industrial data operations, PLM, closed loop quality control, and supply chain traceability each play a role in connecting material, production, and performance insights. Some loops can now be automated, while others still rely on engineering expertise to interpret insights and act on them.
By progressively connecting data across materials, production, and performance, manufacturers can strengthen decision making, improve throughput and quality, enhance sustainability, and accelerate the development of better tires.
