Enable and disable device Automatic Diagnostics

Automatic Diagnostics automatically sends device diagnostic condition updates to applications and client devices supported by
FactoryTalk Alarms and Events
. Automatic Diagnostics is enabled by default on supported devices.
TIP:
Automatic Diagnostics is supported only on
CompactLogix
 5380,
CompactLogix
 5480,
ControlLogix
 5580,
Compact GuardLogix
 5380, and
GuardLogix
 5580 controllers.
To Enable or disable Automatic Diagnostics for a device:
  1. In the
    I/O Configuration
     tree, right-click a device and select
    Properties
     to open the
    Module Properties
     dialog box.
  2. Select the
    Connection
     tab.
  3. Select or clear the
    Enable Automatic Diagnostics
     check box.
