Failed to change the online EtherNet/IP Mode

Problem

Changing the EtherNet/IP Mode
is not allowed because the connection to the controller via the specified port would result in loss of communication. This may occur under the following conditions:

Changing from A1/A2: Dual-IP mode to A1/A2: Linear/DLR mode and the connection to the controller is via the A1 port.

Changing from A1/A2: Linear/DLR mode to A1/A2: Dual-IP mode and the connection to the controller via the A1/A2 port does not have an Ethernet cable connected to the physical A2 port.

Solution

To change the EtherNet/IP Mode
, select a different communication path.
