Failed to change the EtherNet/IP Mode

Problem

Changing the

EtherNet/IP Mode

from A1/A2: Dual-IP mode to A1/A2: Linear/DLR mode failed because the Linear/DLR mode requires a single Ethernet port.

Solution

To change the

EtherNet/IP Mode

to A1/A2: Linear/DLR mode, delete all I/O modules from either the A1 or A2 Ethernet bus in the I/O Configuration tree so that at least one of the buses is empty.
