Data file list

Select data files to view in the data table monitor. The data file list window contains the following four columns:
  • File
    – displays the name of the data file.
  • Type
    – displays the data file type, such as timer, message, or integer.
  • Elements
    – displays the number of elements contained in the data file.
  • Length
    – displays the length of the data file in bytes.
You can click a column heading to sort all columns according to the selected column.
The bottom of the data file list window contains a status bar. The left pane of the status bar is used to inform the user about the process of the loading data files. Once all data files are loaded into the data file list window, the status displays as Complete. The middle pane of the status bar displays the progress of the data files as they are loaded into the data file list.
The right pane of the status bar contains a Stop button, with which you can instruct the data table monitor to discontinue the process of loading data files. If you click
Stop
, the status area displays Stopped and the progress bar display remains as it appeared when you clicked the button. The list of data files may be incomplete if you click
Stop
. The Stop button is not visible once the data file list window receives all data file information.
