Configure the
Output
panel

Change the amount of information provided in the
Output
panel.
By default, the
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
Output
panel shows these message types:
  • = Error of maximum severity
  • = Warning of minimum severity
  • = Information notices
If you configure the
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
Options and enable
Advanced mode
, these items are added to the
Output
panel display:
  • Verbose1
  • Verbose2
You can change the level of information displayed in the
Output
panel for all of your
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
Platform modules or you can specify the information level for specific modules.

To configure the information level to display

  1. In the main toolbar, select
    Options
    .
  2. In
    FactoryTalk Optix Studio options
    , select
    Advanced mode
    , and then select
    Close
    .
  3. Close
    FactoryTalk Optix Studio
    and then reopen it for the updated options settings to take effect.
  4. Select the down arrow on
    Options
    to display the contextual menu, and then select
    Module log level configuration
    to open
    Module log level configuration
    .
    NOTE: The
    Module log level configuration
    dialog box contains a list of every module within the project. You can scroll up and down the list.
  5. Set the information level:
    • In
      Default level
      , select the default maximum information level for messages generated by all modules.
    • If useful, for each individual module, override the default level with a specific information level for that module.
  6. Select
    Close
