Add a VPN driver

Add a VPN driver to communicate with a physical controller.
  1. On the top toolbar, select Deploy icon to open
    Deploy center
    .
    TIP: You can also select
    Deploy center
     at the bottom of the
    Devices
     explorer.
  2. On
    Deploy center
    , in the
    Path
     column, select Hamburger Menu Icon, and then select
    Set controller path
    .
  3. In
    Set device path
    , select .
  4. In
    Configure Drivers
    , do the following:
    1. In
      Available Driver Types
      , select
      Factory Talk Remote Access (VPN)
      .
    2. Select
      Add New
      .
  5. In
    Change the VPN Endpoint
    , expand
    Endpoints
     and
    Devices
    , select an endpoint, and then select
    OK
    .
  6. In
    Configure VPN
    , set
    Discovery Method
     to
    Broadcast
    > Local Broadcast
    , and then select
    OK
    .
  7. Select
    Close
    .
  8. In
    Set device path
    , right-click the endpoint and select
    Connect
    .
  9. Expand the endpoint to see the available controllers.
  10. Select your controller and select
    OK
    .
