Enable Project Access

In
FactoryTalk Design Studio
, the
Project Access
 setting determines whether
FactoryTalk Design Studio
 Copilot and AI Agent can access and modify a
FactoryTalk Design Studio
 project. This setting is enabled by default.
You can disable the
Project Access
 setting for a project to prevent
FactoryTalk Design Studio
 Copilot and AI Agent from accessing project content. When disabled,
FactoryTalk Design Studio
 Copilot and AI Agent cannot generate project insights or new project code. This setting applies only to the currently open project for your user account only and does not affect other users.
  1. From the menu bar, select
    File
    Options
    .
  2. On
    Options
    , select
    Copilot/AI Agent
    .
  3. In the
    Copilot/AI Agent
     view, toggle
    Project Access
     to
    On
    .
  4. Select
    Apply
    .
