Run in simulation mode

Running a recipe in simulation mode is a good way to test the recipe. In this section, you use the .
sim
 file for the
ice_cream2.cfg
 file, which is already configured to run the Chocolate Hazelnut recipe.
  1. Select
    Start
    Rockwell Software
    Simulator
    .
  2. Select
    File
    Open
    . The
    Open Simulator Configuration File
     dialog opens.
  3. From the
    Look in
     list, open the
    C:\Users\Public Documents\Rockwell Automation\Batch\Sampledemo2\Recipes
     folder. Select the
    ice_cream2.sim
     file, and then click
    Open
    .
  4. Minimize the
    Phase Simulator
     window.
