Filter the asset list

Filter the asset list to quickly view the lifecycle status of an asset or assets. The filtered assets or devices' parent nodes are shown only in gray to keep the hierarchy relationship.
To filter the asset list
  1. Select
    View > Assets Lifecycle
    , or click the
    Assets Lifecycle
    button.
  2. To filter assets on the
    Asset
    tab, click the
    Asset
    tab.
    To filter assets on the
    Asset Inventory
     tab, click the
    Asset Inventory
    tab.
  3. You can filter the asset by the
    By Name
     option or the
    By Status
     option.
    • To filter assets by name, type the asset name in the
      By Name
       box.
      The assets including the name show immediately as you type.
      TIP:
      The name filter supports the wildcard "*" to filter the assets. For example, typing
      A*C
       filters assets whose names include
      ABC
      ,
      ADC
      , and so forth.
      Clearing the
      By Name
       box shows all the assets.
    • To filter assets by status, click the
      By Status
       list and select a status.
      The assets of the selected status show in the list.
      TIP:
      Selecting
      All
      in the
      By Status
      list to show all the assets.
