Channel X Diagnostics dialog box parameters (Generic ASCII Receive/Transmit)

When the device is online, the

 Diagnostics
 dialog box shows real-time statistics for the Generic ASCII Receive/Transmit communication. This information is used for performance and error management.
Parameter
Description
Sent Character Count
Shows the number characters sent to the serial port.
Received Character Count
Shows the number of characters received from the serial port.
Field Power
Shows whether field power is present on the channel.
Field Power On Timestamp
Shows the timestamp of the last time field power turned on in YYYY-MM-DD-HH:mm:SS.mmm format.
  • YYYY = year
  • MM = month
  • DD = day
  • HH = hour (24 hour)
  • mm = minutes
  • SS = seconds
  • mmm = milliseconds
Field Power Off Timestamp
Shows the timestamp of the last time field power turned off in YYYY-MM-DD-HH:mm:SS.mmm format.
  • YYYY = year
  • MM = month
  • DD = day
  • HH = hour (24 hour)
  • mm = minutes
  • SS = seconds
  • mmm = milliseconds
Reset Diagnostics
Resets all counters to zero.
