Create a Modbus Slave data mapping table

In the
Device definition
 dialog box, use the
Channel
X
 - Modbus Slave
 view to create and configure the data mapping table for the Modbus Slave.
Prerequisites
  • The device must be offline.
To create a Modbus Slave data mapping table
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    Overview
    .
  2. In the
    Overview
     view, select
    Device definition
    .
  3. In
    Device definition
    , select
    Overview
    .
  4. In the
    Overview
     view, in the appropriate
    Channel
     box, select
    Modbus Slave
     as the protocol to use on the channel.
  5. From the navigation of
    Device definition
    , select
    Channel
    X
     - Modbus Slave
    .
  6. In the
    Channel
    X
     - Modbus Slave
     view, configure the parameters, and then select
    OK
    .
