Channel X - Generic ASCII Receive view

Select the swapping mode for data received from the serial port.

Select the handshake mode used to pass received data from the serial port to the controller.

Enter the message receive timeout value.

Specify the pad character used to fill the receive buffer when it is not full.

Select the start and termination mode.

Specify the start and termination delimiters.

Enable or disable the

XON/XOFF

flow control.

Determine whether

Echo Mode

is enabled or disabled.

Enter the maximum buffer length.

Select the

Delete Mode

.

Open the diagnostic dialog box to diagnose a communication problem with the Generic ASCII Receive /Transmit communication.
